2. Describe my relationship with Christ after I become a Christian.

Romans 14:9 For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.

Jesus becomes the “Lord” of our life.  He is the captain, the pilot, the driver and we are along for the ride and the adventure.

Revelation 2:10 Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life.

Jesus will award us the crown of life.

I John 2:6 Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.

Our relationship with Christ becomes a lifetime of trying to become more and more like him – walking as he did.
